Volunteers respond to house fire

The Red Lodge Fire Department is a full-service, combined department that provides fire protection for the city of Red Lodge, Bear Creek, Luther, and surrounding areas. Our career and volunteer firefighters respond to structure fires, wildland fires, hazardous materials spills, and auto accidents. They are trained in technical rescue as well as motor vehicle extrication techniques.

Our firefighters assist the community with fire inspection services, plan reviews and input on safe property development. Our team also does hazardous fuels mitigation and reduction projects to prevent wildfires, and we provide our community with a comprehensive Fire Prevention Program as well.

Training is the foundation of our department and our firefighters continually prepare for emergencies of all kinds using the most state-of-the-art equipment and firefighting techniques. Every day, our team strives to provide prompt, professional service to our community.

If you are interested in joining our team of dedicated volunteers, recruitment periods for all divisions begin in October of each year. Contact the station or click Join our Team for more details.
